Privacy & Terms
Klaro Reader · a free, early-stage tool. Plain language, no fine print.
Privacy
- Documents are not stored. When you open a document it is sent to Klaro's server only to be parsed into readable parts, and the parsed document is returned to your browser. Nothing is saved to a database or written to disk on the server — there's nothing to leak or to delete later. Your document lives in your browser tab for as long as it's open.
- Voice by Microsoft Azure. To read a document aloud, Klaro sends the text of each part to Microsoft Azure's text-to-speech service, which returns the spoken audio. That is the only third party involved, and the text is used solely to generate the audio. Please don't upload anything you wouldn't want voiced this way.
- Feedback — if you use the feedback button, your message (and your email, only if you choose to add one) is sent to the developer so they can reply and improve Klaro. Email is optional.
- No accounts, no ads, no third-party analytics or trackers.
Terms — the short version
